Greyzie was admitted into the hospital a month ago due to COVID-19. She was 31 weeks pregnant and the doctor decided it was best to do an emergency c-section and on July 18, 2021 when Evie Aura Miller was born premature. Evie has been in the NICU since then will come home on August 16, 2021. The doctors put Greyzie in an induced coma and was put on a ventilator. Her oxygen levels were so low and this was the final option. She was on the ventilator for 17 days. Her left lung collapsed and shortly after, her right lung collapsed and then her heart gave out. She passed away on August 14, 2021 and heaven gained a beautiful angel. She left her newborn daughter Evie, her 2 year old son Silas, and an amazing father and fiancé, David. Greyzie was very adamant about keeping her and her family safe from Covid, so for her to pass away from this disease proves how easily it can spread and take her life. We are starting a go fund me to help this family through this tragedy. There were no preparations for a new born and a funeral, and the hospital bills will start coming in soon, so any monetary contributions will help and be appreciated.
Also, if you are interested in participating in another way, there’s a website called the meal train that will help feed David and Silas during this difficult time. You can volunteer to donate a meal, bring a meal to his residence, to cook for him, or send a gift card from Grubhub or any specific restaurant and David can choose his meals himself.
