Supporting Mark "Goose" Gosewisch's Courageous Journey
Donation protected
We are trying to help out our parents during this difficult time. You may not know our dad personally but you may know our mom Lynne or us 5 children. Charlene Hauser, RaMona Gewerth, Mac Gosewisch, Evan Gosewisch and Vincent Gosewisch.
For anyone that does know him knows how much of a hard worker he is. Usually juggling 2 or more jobs at a time. And always helping out others. Plus spending time with family especially his grandkids.
Well a few years ago dad found out he had prostate cancer. They began monitoring it and treatments. Well that didn't go so well. Within the last year it has spread a lot.
Besides dealing with cancer he has had problems with a sore on his foot that he ended up having to have surgery for. He also has diabetes and neuropathy. That made it that him not able to feel the sore until it was too late. And the healing takes longer from the diabetes.
Along with his own health issues he has also has to care for his wife Lynne and her health issues. So that means a lot of missed work.
He has not been able to work since September 2023. He was supposed to go back in February 2024, but his foot was still not healed. While continuing to monitor his foot he received another body scan. That showed that the cancer was still spreading. He is now diagnosed with stage IV liver cancer. This has made it so he still unable to go back to work due to being very fatigued. Simple tasks wear him out greatly.
I know It is driving him crazy not to be able to be go back yet and may not ever be able to. They have been living off of a fixed income that is just not enough.
Please show your support. If you are able to give something that would be very appreciated, but if not please share this. Also thank you everyone that has helped already.
Money received will help with everyday expenses to relieve some stress while he continues his journey.
We are also having a benefit for him if you would like to attend.
