I never thought I’d be in a position where I’d need to write something like this, but right now my family and I are going through a really tough time.

Over the past few months, I’ve been dealing with a serious lower back condition that has rapidly worsened. I’m now under urgent specialist care due to significant nerve involvement, which has affected my mobility and day-to-day functioning in ways I never expected.

The hardest part of all of this isn’t just the pain—it’s the impact it’s having on my family. I have a partner and young kids who rely on me, and not being able to show up for them the way I normally would has been incredibly difficult. Simple things like playing with my children or helping around the house have suddenly become a challenge.

While I’m doing everything I can to follow medical advice and focus on recovery, this situation has also created unexpected financial pressure. Time off work, ongoing treatment, and the uncertainty ahead are all adding up.

I’ve created this page to help take some of that stress off my family while I focus on getting through this and getting back on my feet.
