Holiday Club is a youth organization for young people aged 14-19 which celebrates and encourages creativity, entrepreneurship and wellness amongst young people. The success of our programmes and work with young people led to our Founder - Bisoye Babalola BEM to be honoured by the Queen in 2019.
Sadly due to not having our own location we are constantly looking for a space to deliver our projects. Moving locations often can be very unsettling for our young people. The impact of not having our own location means we are unable to maintain some relationships with our attendees. In addition to this we can not advance many of our popular programmes. Our current programmes include HC Music, HC Half Term and HC Film and Theatre.
Within HC Half Term we collaborate with seasoned industry professionals to deliver career/cv building activities. As well as this we run workshops around set design, photography, music production, acting, fashion styling, pattern cutting and much more.
Often the impact of the programme is limited due to lack of space. In the set design workshops we would love to build out models or in the photography workshop have backdrops and green screens. These added resources would advance the programmes greatly and further upskills our young people.
Your contribution will help us in creating a safe and impactful place for young people. As we have dedicated ourselves to the advancement of young people we would like to deliver our work in the best way possible.
