A brighter future for Harley and Teddy

On Sunday 19th January, we lost our cousin Dawn following a courageous 10-month battle with Bowel Cancer.

Dawn was a mum to five children. Her eldest three—Brandon, Melody, and Emmy-Lou—live with their Dad and Step-Mum. But Dawn was raising her youngest two—Harley (6) and Teddy (5)—on her own, after the tragic loss of their dad a few years ago.

Despite her illness, Dawn did everything she could over the last year to create precious memories for the boys. Her greatest worry, however, was what would happen to them once she was gone.

Now, following her passing, Harley and Teddy are being cared for and supported by us as a family, as we work together to make plans for their long-term care.

We are fully committed to giving the boys a secure, loving, and happy future. But we know this will be a challenging journey for them. That’s why we're fundraising to help ensure they have the stability and opportunities that Dawn always wanted for them as they grow up.

Dawn’s story has touched so many people, and we’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of kindness and offers of help. If you are able to make a contribution, no matter how small, we would be so grateful.
