Lucius is an important member of a special group of horses who help people on a daily basis. As a therapy horse, Lucius helps humans heal from trauma, ptsd, depression and psychological ailments in addition to helping individuals in the pursuit of self growth & discovery, bringing joy and awakening to the lives of so many.  He is truly loved and cherished by his Human & Equine family. 

After treatment for a leg injury this weekend, Lucius had a life threatening reaction to medication he was given and has been hospitalized since Tuesday.  Although he is fighting to get through this, he is still in Isolation and ICU after 3 days.  Funds are greatly needed asap to help continue treatment for Lucius to stabilize him and bring him back home.

Despite his serious and sensitive condition, everyone at the hospital agrees he is incredibly alert and aware for a horse in his state.  He is clearly not ready to give up the fight and neither are we.  He just needs more time and care, but the expenses are overwhelming. Any help and donations would be very much appreciated. He needs our help.
