Honduras Missions Trip!

Hello! My name is Eden Wisniewski, and I have always had a passion for ministry in various aspects! From worship, to prayer, small groups, student ministries, AV, and missions, I have loved every part of the local church and they ways they reach the surrounding community, as well as over seas. My suite mate Bethany had been planning a missions trip most of the year but I never thought about going with her since my church was doing a huge missions push and thought I would just go with them. As I was praying morning, the Lord nudged me to go with Bethany because He knew exactly how wonderful and amazing the trip would be! So, a little reluctant and afraid, I said yes and told Bethany...and here we are!
This missions trip will benefit the families and community over in Honduras that we are planning on reaching out to. From medical care, optical care, dental care, evangelizing and sharing the Gospel, to VBS with the kids with Christian content and spirit-filled worship, we are wanting to impact the lives that the Lord has placed for such a time as this. We are also helping pour concrete in the homes of the Hondurans who live on dirt floors, as well as giving them a fresh look with new paint! This will be a huge blessing to the families that are living in those conditions.
The funds I am raising will be going towards airfare, transportation, meals, lodging, medical stations and supplies, dental supplies, concrete floors, and painting. The trip is May 26th-June 2nd, so having my funds raised by then would be awesome! I have some pre-payments for flights and transportation coming up the beginning of March, as well.
It has been about 6 years since my last missions trip, and for my to step outside of the church and go with a smaller group is a huge leap of Faith. I know this something that God has called me to do, so I am confident that he will provide the funds, create the space for the Spirit to move, and give me peace while I am still doing my day to day life while tying to raise money and keep up with all the wonderful things he has blessed me with in my life. It would be awesome to have you help me with this trip that is stretching me in my faith, but is also going to reach out across the nations to help heal, teach, and love on these Hondurans whom the Lord loves, too.
