May 19th Connie and Aaron were on their way back from Sunday morning breakfast when they were involved in a car crash that left Connie seriously injured. With the threat of permanent paralysis she underwent surgery early the next morning. While the surgery went well, recovery is expected to be a long and painful process.

Her recovery is exacerbated by a surgery she had 6 weeks prior to remove a lung. She returned to work from this surgery a week and a half before the car crash. Currently, she is able to walk with assistance and is expected to be unable to work in any capacity for at least 12 weeks, and even then she will only be able to work part-time until her doctor gives the okay to work full-time. It is unknown how long she will have to wait before being released to work full-time.

This fund raiser is simply to help Connie pay her bills while she is unable to work.
