My parents James (Jimmy) and Angela Jones, like so many others in the Altadena Community lost their home in the Eaton Fire.

They purchased their home in 1985. I have so many memories of growing up in that home. My children also created great memories during summer vacations and Christmas holidays spending time with their grandparents. It's hard to grasp the fact that our family home is gone.

My Dad retired a couple of years ago, and my Mom was looking forward to retiring as well.

To suffer this type of lost at this stage in their life is heartbreaking.
