Help HBCU Senior remove obstacles to graduation

Good Evening my name is Kimberly. This fundraiser is to help TN State University Senior CMiah Stewart. CMiah is Senior Psychology Major with dreams of becoming an FBI Profiler.

C'Miahs final year has started off very rocky through no fault of her own and the discouragement has been real. She is one of many students that has been left in limbo with no university housing available and being waitlisted even though she applied for housing as early as possible as an upperclassmen. With no housing and unable to find assistance she has already had to relinquish a planned internship and had to return back home in another state and has had to miss the early days of her in person classes because she had nowhere to stay. To top it off she was in an accident that was the fault of another driver and her vehicle is now also out of commission.

The goal of this fundraiser is to assist CMiah once she gets back to Nashville by assisting her with temporary housing and hopefully more permanent housing for this semester and next semester. No one wants her last semester to even have a chance of being in limbo.

While she has been able to finally locate off campus housing it is expensive and she needs a hotel for a week or so until she is able to move in. This is also now an expense that was unexpected and no financial aid is available to help since is non student/university housing. She has felt overwhelmed to say the least.

She is quickly falling behind in classes and the hope is that if some of her financial turmoil can be eliminated by the help of many that she can then simply focus in on being a student.

If you can assist CMiah and her family in anyway please help. She is one of 3 of her siblings that are current college students and her Mom and her have been overwhelmed by this set of circumstances and setbacks and I am hoping this fundraiser will help bring some relief. This could have just as easily been my students story and my wish is just to help this student and her Mom.
