Helping Kelli Robinson

As most of you know, Kelli has been away from the gym for a month handling a family crisis in Nevada City which involves both of her parents.  

Kelli, who is an only child, has been juggling a highly complex challenge.  Her mother, who was diagnosed with dementia years ago and has been cared for by Kelli's father, has been in the hospital for weeks with serious injuries. Separately Kelli's father is also in crisis at a different facility. As each parent grapples with their situation, Kelli finds herself pulled in both directions attempting to care for each parent's urgent needs while at the same time trying to keep her fitness business going.  

Being the stalwart that we know her to be, Kelli is soldiering on trying to do what needs to be done in the best interest of each parent. 

Kelli is targeting a return to the gym Tuesday the 10th.  However, the dual crisis in Nevada City will continue to weigh on her for a number of months and she will definitely need support from her community as she helps her mother heal, establishes a plan of care for her in the absence of her father (who had been the primary care giver), shores up a number of legal issues and navigates her father's case. 

For those who are a part of Endurance, you know we are much more than a gym.  We are a tight-knit community of family and friends that cares so much about each other. It's this unique character that has found us stepping in and up to help others in our family from time-to-time over the years. Kelli has been taking care of many of us for well over a decade. It's now time for us to take care of her. Please contribute to our fundraiser so Kelli can focus her energy on her parents instead of financial worries.
