Hello friends, family and fellow human helpers!
.
.
Thank you for being here and helping me with my life transition. My business and personal life have taken some major hits this past year but through all the hardships and healing the one thing that I have circled back to is that I cannot put off my education to help get me out of a hole without the help of my community.
.
.
The past three years post divorce, I have been working that three job lifestyle to just get by and try to restart my life and my dreams. I haven’t really asked for help because I was determined to make it on my own, but one thing I have learned about life, is that sometimes you have to ask for help along the way to get out of the hole and back on your feet. My mom has been able to help with therapy after an intense year of trauma therapy but she herself is low income working at Walmart. (Thanks mom for all your love and support!)
.
.
I have been saving money for the past couple years to finally invest in going back to school but the pandemic wiped out my savings to pay rent and be able to get groceries from this tragic time in history. Then in November I was diagnosed with Candida all over my organs, vaginal area, then into leaky gut that passed into my bloodstream. I haven’t been able to afford health insurance on my own, so all the tests and medicine drained the last of my savings and I am still only able to work a low paying part-time job. I have been applying for jobs everyday for the past 10 weeks but the job market has had it’s own crash.
.
.
This year, I have learned how important my friends are and how much being able to receive financial help has helped break my heart open in knowing that if people can help heal and help a person, they show up. My ego is the only thing that is blocking me from helping out my future self, life and stability.
.
.
I don’t want to put my dreams off any longer, and I realized the only way I can get out of this financial poverty cycle is to go back to school and get licensed in massage therapy.
.
.
I have spent the past three years practicing as a reiki master and diving deep in understanding mental illness, how our nervous system holds memories and trauma, which has lead me to wanting to understand the science of touch and how to help physically heal trauma with myself and with clients. To take my practice to the next level and to be able to give back what so many other healers have poured into me over the past three years of embodiment work.
.
.
When I started receiving reiki massage three years ago, it changed my life and got me on the path of mental, physical and spiritual healing and I can’t wait to be able to hold that space for current clients and all future ones.
.
.
The school I will be going to is located here in TN and will take about a 18 months to complete. It is the only holistic massage therapy school in the area and I have already done the tour and met all the teachers and everything just feels right at home.

If you would rather pay the school directly, you can definitely do that for receipts. Thank you so much for helping support me through these hard times to help stabilize my path and my soul work.
