I'm a 35 year old woman undergoing an intensive alternative treatment program for cancer. I have 15 doctors and health practitioners, and my bills for 5 months without insurance Dec-Jan 2014 total $10K. I have MBA student loans at $50K. I have struggled in the last 6 months to make payments.

On top of being unable to work and finding out I am unable to bear children, I am going through a divorce, which has resulted in me losing my stepchildren, my job, my house, my dog, and all of my assets this the past year.

I don't see myself as a fighter, survivor, or a victim. I am not what happens to me. I forge my own future. I may no longer be a wife, mother, business executive, or public figure, but I am still an entrepreneur, a writer, a volunteer, a daughter, sister, and a friend--I am someone who is choosing to move forward in life.

I am going through a rough patch financially. I do know enough to let go of my pride and ask for help when I need it. I would appreciate any help with paying my medical bills while I try to recover my health in the next 3 months.
