Hi my name is Holly. I became aware of the Fulton County Animal shelter after its been all over social media due to Dave Portnoy adopting from them. I came upon this beautiful girl on their page of death row dogs. This is London. She is 5 years old and is being euthanized because she is so "terrified in her cage she has begun hurting herself". She has a deadline of the 27th of February. I instantly fell in love with her. I reached out to them asking if she was still available and in good health, they assured me she was. So I purchased my flight from Boston to Atlanta to leave today (Feb 23) to rescue her. Last night I received an email stating that she is heartworm positive and unable to be legally transported into massachusetts. They have had London in their care since November 21, 2023. She was tested upon entrance and was never treated. She was left alone and scared in her kennel all while battling the fatal disease heartworm. Im asking you all to please consider donating to her vet funds so we can safely get her to Massachusetts and into a loving home. Her days are running out
