Help HAZL Take Her Music Across The US

Hey friends, strangers, and fellow silly geese —
My name is HAZL. I’m a queer indie artist and songwriter making lil sounds with my face. If you’ve ever come to one of my shows, streamed a track, or sang one of my songs in the car with the windows down — just know: I am SHOOK, and so wildly grateful
Making music is my greatest joy and now, I’m trying to take that joy on the road! To do that, I need a van.
Not just a “tour van,” but a home. A place to live, sleep, write, cry, laugh, and pack out merch. I’ve found one that’s perfect—reliable, converted for full-time living, tour-ready, and just the right amount of home. And this perfect little rig has the shiny price tage of $40,000. I’ve already put down $10,000 with the seller, but I need help getting the rest of the way over the finish line.
I don’t come from money. I do come from a deep belief that art can change lives—and I’ve committed everything to that. Graduating from LAAMP in 2024 on a full scholarship, I wrote over 127 songs in a year, and since then, I’ve been building a life where music is the job. But like a lot of independent artists, I’m trying to make it work without a label, a trust fund, or a safety net.
This van isn’t about luxury. It’s about freedom.
It means I can say yes to more shows, share new songs in new cities, and meet the people who’ve found pieces of themselves in my lyrics. It means I don’t have to choose between rent and touring. It means the dream can keep going—on four wheels and a lot of heart.
If you’re able to support—whether it’s $5, $50, or just by sharing this with someone who gets it—thank you. Truly. You’re helping build more than a van. You’re helping build the next chapter of this wonderful lil journey. And I promise to fill it with music, laughter, and as many gas station snacks as it takes.
BIG HUG,
HAZL
