For the past 15 years, Hazelwood Studios has been a creative home for local musicians — a place to rehearse, record, stream music, and connect with others who share a passion for the arts. It has fostered friendships, collaborations, and a genuine sense of community.

The studio was built and lovingly run by Christopher Whitelaw, whose dedication, generosity, and vision inspired so many. His recent passing has left a profound void, and sadly, it has also placed the future of Hazelwood Studios at risk.

We are launching this fundraiser to help cover the rent and essential upkeep needed to keep the studio open for the next six months — and hopefully much longer. By coming together, we can continue Chris’s legacy and bring his dream of Hazelwood becoming a fully equipped recording and streaming hub to life.
