Hazelton Family Medical Support Fund

This summer has brought some medical challenges to the Hazelton family. In early May 2025, Bobby was diagnosed with Oropharyngeal Cancer. His team of doctors at Trinity Health Lacks Cancer Center have provided him with a plan of care that will go into early fall, and if all goes well, will leave Bobby cancer free. This week Bobby starts his fourth week of chemotherapy and radiation treatment. He continues to work with his color guard and band students, but has been told that it may be increasingly difficult to do so.

Many people who have been aware of Bobby’s medical condition have reached out to ask how they can help Bobby, Rachel and the family during this time. As a close family friend, I created this GoFundMe to provide donations that will go directly to medical bills for Bobby, the household needs during this challenging time, and help with loss of income when Bobby is unable to work. If you are interested and able to donate to this fund to help alleviate some of the financial burden, please do so. Most importantly, please keep the family in your prayers for strength and healing.

In addition to Bobby’s cancer diagnosis, the Hazelton family has been searching for a kidney donor for Kathryn, Bobby and Rachel’s eldest daughter. Kathryn is currently in end stage kidney disease.
