Hazel's Top Surgery Fund

My name is Hazel Angell and I'm a nonbinary/transmasc guy trying to afford top surgery!

This surgery has been long awaited and I've had to jump through so many hoops to get here. My surgery date was originally set for mid October but now has been moved to September 27th! So I have a little less than a month to raise money for this surgery!!

I'm currently unemployed due to my fibromyalgia and long COVID symptoms and have been reliant on gig work and my medical insurance to get by. My insurance has agreed to pay for a good chunk of the surgery but after that, I am still left with a $4,500 bill to pay. I have no savings and no steady income, making this bill incredibly daunting. Here is a breakdown of what your donations would be covering:

Surgery - $4,500

Rent - $1,200

Medical supplies, prescriptions, post-surgery scar care, etc. - $500

Food, transportation, misc. expenses that I don't know about yet - $800-$1,000
