Update: I added some photos of our receipt and the charges on my card. As you can see every time they called us we had to pay upfront for anything to be done. We have been asked multiple times if we are trying to scam, no we are not, we are being honest, which is why we are sharing our documents. I totally understand everyones worry with all the shady and sad stuff going on in today's world. We appreciate everyone who has donated so far and are truly grateful, we are also appreciative to anyone who has forwarded it. Thank you all so much! We promise all of this will pay off those charges you see here and for her health. She is doing a lot better and she is finally off two meds, three more to go. We've been able to take her cone off and watch her closely. She's getting her pep in her step again, so that's a great sign!
Here are the photos of the charges and receipt; thank you.
Hello everyone. My wife and I hate to ask for help, but our new pup Hazel has come into expenses that we weren't expecting. Small story, Hazel was adopted not more than 4 months ago from a Klamath Falls shelter where someone just dropped her off and abandoned her. We've been working with our new pup to trust people again and love people. We expected her to not be more than 10 months old now. We did a DNA test and she's a pure red heeler, luck to us. Well our new beautiful baby decided that Christmas needed to be early. We have been working on letting her out of the crate little bits at a time. We were gone for only an hour and our little pup decided to tear into some Christmas presents. Unfortunately a present was a set of leather gloves that she ingested one of them. Hazel is only 24 pounds, she at an entire half of a leather glove and somehow three cups of kibble which cause her to have an obstruction and bloat. We rushed her to the emergency vet and she was there for two days, needing emergency surgery. We were not expecting the fees that went a long with this since my wife has been dealing with medical issues herself the pass year. We were determined not to let this pup pass. She is too young and needs a chance to become a great best friend. We hate asking for assistance, but with the bills of this emergency stay it is making things hard. Her stay and surgery (plus the five medications she's on) combined was $5,500 dollars. We had an emergency credit card, but those things add up as well. We appreciate any help that anyone would like to donate or even a share to help pay for an animal in an emergency situation, she has a long road too recovery. All proceeds will go directly to her care and her future care. Thanks for reading this story and taking the time to consider, even if it is just a share, we appreciate it. Also a reminder to watch your pets around your presents. We've heard of three other people this has happened to recently. It's sad, and we love out pets!
