Donation protected
Laramie's very own Hazel Homer-Wambeam has earned the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent our state of Wyoming on the national Miss America stage! Her year of representation consists of fundraising, traveling the state and country, making appearances, volunteering, meeting with Wyoming lawmakers, promoting her platform of body positivity through dance, and preparing to compete for the title of Miss America this December, in Uncasville, Connecticut.
Your generous donation will go directly to the costs of undertaking this adventure during Hazel's year of service. These include airfares, gas, lodging, wardrobe, and her Miss America competition evening gown.
Join me in supporting Team Hazel and be a part of her journey in celebrating our great state of Wyoming!

The Miss America Organization is transitioning into a new era where candidates are no longer judged on physical appearance but rather on their intelligence, poise, public speaking abilities, talent, and social impact. The swimsuit category has been entirely eliminated, and there is an emphasis on supporting and empowering all women and providing financial assistance to their educational and career journeys.
