Hello. My name is Natasha Ezell. My mother Hazel (Hazy’s) “Nae” Ezell was everything to me. She was loved by so many and she loved them just as much. Family, friends, and working hard in her community meant everything to her. She often could be found fishing with family in Indiana, or giving back to local charities in Harvey and surrounding communities. Her most precious accomplishment on earth was founding the Toast-Toast Club (a community service organization).

There wasn’t an organization she didn’t support. Who would have thought that after fighting alongside many others during cancer awareness months that it be one of the battles she also had to fight. Although the fight for us seems like we didn’t win, MOM said, “My faith is bigger than my fears. I still trust in God and never lost my faith” nor the battle!

My mother transitioned from her earthly body on the 23rd of January. I am devastated and found myself trying to lay her to rest but it's been difficult. If you find it in your heart to support US, just know that I am very appreciative and know that she would be too! Anything donated would be a gift to a woman who gifted services to many. Blessings
