Hazel desperately needs eye surgery

Hi my name is Carolyn and I am Hazel’s mum.

On Friday morning I noticed my dog Hazel squinting her left eye. I rang the vet immediately thinking it was a grass seed.

After spending hours at the vet having tests it was the news I didn’t want to hear. She has somehow bumped it overnight and this has caused the lense to detach causing swelling and blindness.

I had the make a decision, so with a heavy heart I made the choice to have the eye removed. Breaks my heart.

I am needing help cover the cost of the surgery and subsequent medications to keep her other eye from the same fate which will round out to $2k.

I am a disability pensioner so don’t have a lot and this was all very sudden. I am also an artist and have sold some work and have had a couple of donations this far but I still need the bill of the money.

Hazels surgery is Monday 8th August at 8am. Any amount would help. I thank you in advance.
