Campaign ends March 15, 2020

Hayward High school is a four-year, comprehensive high school about 28 miles southeast of San Francisco. The student body consists of approximately 1600 students: 
·       African American or Black 14%
·       American Indian or Alaska Native .3%
·       Asian 5%
·       Filipino 4%
·       Hispanic or Latino 63%
·       Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander 3%
·       White 8%

According to the California Dashboard, approximately 77% of students are socioeconomically disadvantaged and 11% are English Learners. 

When students have access to music education, everything changes.
Personal growth, social skills, teamwork, collaboration, and leadership are some of the life lessons students earn at Hayward High. The award-winning Pride of Hayward High Marching Band and Color Guard have an opportunity to showcase their musical talents in a Disney recording studio and perform in front of an international audience at Disneyland in May 2020. 

With over 40 students planning to participate, the work behind the scenes to make this happen is no easy task, that is why we are asking for your help. The students have been fundraising all year, but we could use your support to reduce the final cost for each family to participate. The GoFund Me funds will be split among all the students to ease the financial responsibly of the travel expenses and field trip costs.
