On the evening of the 13th, the Davis family experienced a devastating house fire that left them having lost nearly everything. While they are grateful that some things were spared, the damage was significant, and most of their belongings were destroyed.

Haynesville High School senior football player Dakota Davis had just returned home from the State Championship, where he played a vital role in helping the Golden Tornado win their 18th state title. After such a moment of pride and celebration for Dakota, his family was suddenly faced with an overwhelming hardship.
