Hello Everybody! My name is Hayley Ng and I am an 11th grader at Dougherty Valley High School. I have been given the amazing chance to travel with an organization called Global Glimpse to Leon, Nicaragua in an effort to change my perspective of the world and to break out of my safe little bubble here in San Ramon. Global Glimpse takes students like me to less fortunate countries in order to expose us to factors such as poverty, new cultures, and history, as well as building upon our leadership skills and aiding people in need along the way. I am very excited and humbled to go on this once in a lifetime adventure, but in order to pay for this trip, I am trying to raise around $3,500 to cover most of the cost.
