Hayley Tuttles fight against Leukemia

Donation protected
My niece Hayley Tuttle is 11 years old the only child of my brother Jason and his wife Carol. she is a funny, sweet loving little girl who enjoys competitive dance playing Roblox and socializing with her friends. She is also on the honor roll in school. May 27 2023 was a terrible day for our family not only did our mother pass away but it was the same day my brother Jason received a devastating phone call from his pediatrician that Hayley had Leukemia. It started a week prior with a fever a trip to urgi care and a diagnosis of strep after days of the antibiotic not working a fever that wouldn’t break and worsening symptoms her pediatrician sent her to have lab work done. And the results showed she was a very sick little girl.
Hayley’s pediatrician was very concerned with her numbers and wanted her to go to a hospital in Manhattan immediately for further evaluation so we drove Hayley to Cornell hospital and after about 2 hours the emergency room physicians had her transferred to the pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital. She spent a week in ICU before she was stable enough to be transferred to a regular room at MSK. We have since learned she has a diagnosis of AML she has been undergoing chemotherapy and has required multiple red blood cell and platelet infusions
Hayley has been a trooper undergoing so many tests and tries very hard to put on a brave face despite everything. She has a long road ahead of her and her only current wish is to go home but as of now we are uncertain when she will be allowed to leave the hospital.
my brother Jason and sister in law Carol are hardworking people who have not left their daughters side. Our current concern is the upcoming expenses of commuting back and forth to the hospital and future medical and medication expenses. And Carol has taken a leave of absence from her job so she can remain with her daughter.
we are hoping to raise enough funds so that Hayley’s loving parents can continue to remain by her side and afford the upcoming expenses that come with having a sick child.
