Haylee's Horse

Sometime in the early morning hours on Saturday February 1, 2020, Haylee's horse, Six, was shot and killed in the pasture near her home. It appears that someone shot Six at close range while he grazed near the fence by the road. The senseless murder of this horse is under investigation at this time by the Atascosa Sheriffs Department. Haylee and her family absolutely loved this animal. Haylee competes in youth rodeo and Six was like a family member. As you can imagine, Haylee is totally devastated by the loss of Six. 

Haylee is an outstanding young person who is active not only in rodeo, but in her church and other community organizations. Haylee's parents are leaders at their church Cowboy Fellowship of Atascosa County. 

With the spring rodeo season starting for Haylee in just a few weeks, she has lost more than her friend Six, she has lost the opportunity to compete in youth rodeo this spring.  All money raised with this Go Fund Me will be given to Haylee to help her find another horse as soon as possible. The family has agreed to donate any extra money that is raised through this effort to the Cowboy Fellowship youth rodeo fund.
