My name is Alicia Hayle, and I am the founder of the Hayle Cares Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Ontario, Canada, dedicated to supporting immigrants, newcomers, and those in need—both in Canada and back home in Jamaica, where I was born and raised.
In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa, the Hayle Cares Foundation proudly stands in solidarity with Jamaica and our affected brothers and sisters. This cause is deeply personal to me—many of my family members, friends, and community partners still live on the island and have been directly impacted by the storm.
All funds raised through this GoFundMe will go directly toward relief and rebuilding efforts. Specifically, donations will be distributed to Food for the Poor Jamaica and select churches actively providing aid in affected areas. We are committed to ensuring that every dollar is used to support those in real need—providing food, clean water, rebuilding materials, and emergency supplies to families who have lost their homes and livelihoods.
At Hayle Cares Foundation, we believe transparency is always the best policy. Every donation and disbursement will be publicly documented and shared on our official pages so our supporters can see exactly where their contributions go:

Together, we can bring hope and relief to the people of Jamaica. Thank you for standing with us as we help rebuild, one family at a time.
