Accident left our family struggling
The night of June 15 my husband went for a drive with our 4 children, twin girls who are 7, and our 2 boys age 4 & 2, because I was out helping my mom do a few errands and our kids were upset so he took the for a drive to calm them down and try to make them happy. What dad wouldn't!? During their drive he was about to turn around and head home when a dog had jumped out in front of them, our kids said they knew the dog and had been calling it by name, so my husband swerved to miss the dog so he could avoid upsetting our amazing animal loving kids, but in that moment he had pulled the wheel to the right but both front tires went to the left sending the across 2 lanes and off a 6ft drop into a creek upside down. Smashing the truck up and sending the cab of the truck 3ft off the frame and bed of the truck. He ended up breaking his back in 3 places, his lumbar 3 and his 1st and 2nd vertebrae, and with the help of a higher power he was able to pull himself and our kids out of the wreckage and walk to them home and get them calm before finally collapsing, amazingly our children all walked away with very minor scraps. He is so lucky that he wasn't paralyzed, but still he is completely out of work for the next 3 months at minimum. And to add the medical bills, tow fees, and just being able to survive is very overwhelming. We have tried to reach out to find means of helping us to survive but it seems as if we have the short end of the stick. If anyone has any little about to help donate we would greatly appreciate it, and if u could please share this and get the word out! I am praying this can help him from being so focused on us and our bills and the fact he isn't and won't be working, and he can just concentrate on his recovery! I appreciate you taking the time to read.
Thank you for caring,
The Hayes family,
Reggie,Samantha, Keisha, Keira, Kingston, and our baby Cale
