My parents lost their home they have owned for 42 years. They were asleep when the fire started if my mother had not woke up to the smell of smoke and to the popping noise of electrical burning they would not be here. This was a devastating blow to them because this in the only house they have ever known and my father is about to retire from Georgia Pacific. Everything has been lost to the fire unfortunately, The insurance will cover the house but not there items. Please if you can help with any amount it would be greatly appreciated and if you can’t help please share so others can. All the money collected will go directly to them to help them get back on their feet. I personally can’t imagine losing all I have and having to start over. My parents have raised 4 children in that house, took care of many grand children, always wanted to have family BBQ’s at there house. I don’t know what it is going to be like now that the house we grew up in is no longer there. I would like to say Thank you for all who do Donate and all who Share it is much appreciated.
