Hi everyone! My name is Lauren Stithem, I’m the mom of Hayden Hudgens. Hayden was diagnosed with cancer when she was 2 years old, went through 2 1/2 years of treatment and was just starting to plan her make a wish trip on a Disney cruise. We had to put her wish on hold because she relapsed 3 months after finishing her treatment. She went through 6 months of chemo, and a bone marrow transplant that has had devastating effects in her little body. Just as she was starring To feel good enough to go on her trip (this time she wanted to go to Hawaii and one of her wishes was to swim with dolphins) COVID hits, and we were not able to travel. When restrictions started to lift we were informed that if our family was not planning to get the COVID vacc Hayden would not be able to choose a traveling wish. Hayden has literally fought for her life for 7 years and she has been through things that most adults couldn’t even fathom. She DESERVES the best trip ever!!! Now, she wants to go to a Fun resort in Orlando, go to downtown Disney for a little shopping, have a spa day, and also swim with the dolphins.
