Walk Across Texas Album

Well here's the deal...I'm about to begin a 700 mile walk from the Texas state line just outside Texico, New Mexico in the panhandle down to Freeport, Texas at The Gulf of Mexico. "Why?" Well...sometimes you have to do something outside the box to remind yourself that this life is exactly what you make of it so, "Why the hell not?" My initial idea was to walk the 3,000 mile stretch across America which would have taken roughly six months. After just a bit of careful thought, I reached the conclusion that I'm not quite that "lost" and 40 days of hiking is all I'll really need. Ha! The purpose of this walk is to find new strengths, lose old weaknesses and stretch the mental and physical comfort zones I've become complacent with. I've taken more than a "few" wrong turns throughout my past, but, I'm slowly learning, all that's within our control is the path we choose for the road ahead. Basically...this is a spiritual journey. 
  I've been a singer/songwriter for the last six years and I expect the inspiration given from the people met and places seen along the way to give life to the unwritten songs needed (I have seven ready as of now) to record my fourth album. I am asking for your donations to help fund the recording costs of this upcoming project.
