Hello, my name is Robert Brown I lost a 24yr old son 11 years ago in a auto accident. As a result of losing my son, I got aquatinted with the father (James) of Hayden York. We quickly became good friends. Never in my life did I expect to be helping another Parent deal with such a severe accident, while worrying about his son’s  life. Hayden York was 12 when I met him. Fast forward to Sunday August 2, 2023 at about 4:30am. Hayden was a Pipeline welder headed to an emergency repair job. He has worked really hard to have such a great work reputation for being so young. At about 4:30am a drunk driver hit Hayden head on traveling the wrong direction on interstate 35 near Blackwell Ok. Instantly the other man was killed. As you can see from the picture, it severely totaled Hayden’s F-350 welding rig. And then a pickup following Hayden, hit Hayden from behind. Hayden was extracted from his truck with multiple injuries and unconscious. He is in a drug  induced coma to help with his extreme injuries. His injuries are very serious and he is in critical condition at a level 1 critical care Wichita hospital The doctors are saying he will need months of physical therapy when he is able to be transferred to another facility. He does have health insurance, but has no income. We are asking for help to keep his bills current and to help cover the expenses that his insurance won’t cover, which will be significant.
