Hayden John Brown Needs our Help
In December of 2019 Hayden went to the emergency room due to a high fever and sores on his back. He was then diagnosed with Vertebrae Osteomyelitis, an infection of the bone, a rare but serious condition.
This infected his vertebrae and the tissue between creating "swiss cheese like" holes int the bone caused his MRSA (staph infection) also creating sores on his back as the infection spread into his bloodstream. As a result he was immediately hospitalized and remained at the hospital for three long months.
During Hayden's hosptalization he had tough choices to make and his savings was quickly depleted with personal and medical expenses.
Since he does not have a return to work date, his employer was unable to hold his position. Hayden lost his car to repossession and in the need to pay his rent, his family has helped as much as they could.
Hayden is currently convelesing in Michigan at his mothers house but needs to return to SoCal late March for Lombard Nuero Sergery.
Currently Hayden is unable to walk - which means working is not possible. We are working on getting his State Disability benefits set up, but it is a very timely process.
In the meantime, Hayden is focusing on his rehab and learning to walk again and regain his stregnth in prepration for the surgery that will determine his future mobilty and how he will face his future.
I am asking that we all chip in and assist him with some funds that will allow him to heal and regain his stregnth and take some of the presure off.
When he returns to SoCal he will also need our help with some errands and possibly getting him to and from appointments.
