This week, the world lost a daughter, a mother, and an awesome friend.
If you knew Haydee, I don’t have to describe to you the light she had. If you weren’t familiar with Haydee, she had a massive heart, with which she loved her son immensely. She was intelligent, quick-witted, and never failed to make us laugh.
Because this loss was so unexpected, the financial toll is just as sudden. As a longtime friend of Haydee's and a friend to her family, I have set up the fund to help minimize the burden of a sudden loss. Any funds donated will be transferred to Haydee’s mother, Mayra Escobar, for funeral costs and savings for her young son, Sam.
