Hi

Pooh Corner is a small sanctuary for rescued horses and ponies which is funded entirely by donations and small grants.

Horses and ponies eat mainly hay in the winter.

We have just harvested our own quality meadow hay, which should see us through until Christmas. Volunteers helped to bring the hay in to the barn.

However, we have to pay the contractors who did all the mowing, turning, rowing up and baling.

Once our hay has all been eaten we will have to buy hay from a local farmer. Every year the costs go up.

In winter each horse has two to three hay nets every day.

Please help us to pay the contractors and have money put aside to buy hay through the winter.
