Hello to our nearest and dearest.
After 5 months and 5 cancelled sets of flights, we have finally secured ourselves passage back to Australia!!! CELEBRATE!
On the 12th of April we are flying from London to Darwin, where we will then quarantine at the Howard Springs Government facility.
Angus and I have been preparing and saving for our return to Australia since the beginning of last year. However due to the nature of the past 12 months, the cost of JUST returning home has become astronomical ($13, 385 to be exact). Once we're home, we still have the additional costs of Angus's visa ($8000) and all the 'setting up your life costs' associated with an international move.
So...we are doing something that feels INCREDIBLY uncomfortable and reaching out to ask for help with the cost of getting home.
Although we have had to set an amount for the 'gofundme', ANY support is helpful and received with such deep appreciation. The money will go towards the overall cost of returning home, however if you want to feel like you're contributing to a specific part, we have listed a breakdown of the costs at the bottom.
We may not be able to repay you with cash, but once we're home we will be able to repay you with dinner parties, haircuts, yoga classes, walks, babysitting and our fun loving energies!!!
