Help!  The playground at Hawthorne Elementary School is in dire need of replacement.  We have gathered ideas from students, parents, and teachers and come up with a final design for an AMAZING playground suited for all students including those with special needs.

We have raised $35,000 through our annual school fundraisers the "Hornet Hustle".  This along with family and community donations have allowed us to complete phase 1 of our new playground.  We still need to raise $30,000 to make phase 2 a reality. Phase 2 includes specialized adaptive equipment and bonded rubber mulch. We are half way there and we know we can do it with your help.

Please consider making a donation to the Hawthorne Playground Fund.  We hope to make our playground a shining example of our school motto: “Celebrating the diversity and uniqueness of all individuals”.
