Mark, Katie Hawley and twins

My name is Katy Laviolette.  I have been so incredibly lucky to have friends like Mark and Katie Hawley.  I have set up this gofundme in hopes of helping two (soon to be 4) very special people to me.  About a year and a half ago, they decided that they wanted to add to their family.  Unfortunately due to complications, IVF was their only option for parenthood.  In December they recieved incredible news that they were pregnant!!!!  They were so happy that they were finally going to have a baby that they had wanted for so long!  Soon they found out that they weren't just pregnant with one, but TWO baby girls!  With all that Katie had gone through to get pregnant, she was considered very high risk and having twins made it even more of a high risk pregnancy. Katie was so strong and determined to take care of the growing little girls in her tummy.  She visited her doctor every two weeks.  Just when they thought they were in the "safe zone", additional issues were found and Katie was put on bed rest at 20 weeks. From this point forward, Katie has not been able to work.  She spent the next 5 weeks doing exactly what the doctor had told her to do.  Unfortunately, at 25 weeks Katie was admitted to the hospital for monitoring.  At this point she is indefinitely going to be in the hospital until the girls arrival.  They are trying eveything they can to keep them in there.  Every single day that passes is a win.  Once the girls arrive, they will have to be kept in the NICU for at least 3 months.  This has been such a stressful time for the Hawley's.  They are focused on taking care of these little girls.  As their friend, I don't want to add any more stress than they are already experiencing by somehow helping with some of the expenses.  As a double income family, expecting twins has definitely been difficult with Katie being bed ridden. If there is any way that you can help this incredible family, I know that it would be so appreciated. They have a long road ahead, but I know that at the end of the day, all of the difficult times will be completely worth it for little Emerson Jo and Sawyer Kate!
