Yesterday the Hawk Fire came through Peavine Mountain and burned through our property. My wife , my brother and I live up here and honestly we’re still trying to wrap our heads around everything that happened.

A lot of the stuff we had on the property was burned completely to the ground. There’s going to be a ton of cleanup and probably more dump runs than I even want to think about.

The hardest part right now is that all the power poles are down. We have no power or water and we really have no idea how long it’s going to take to get everything back up. We’re probably going to have to find somewhere temporary to live until we can get basic utilities back.

And to make everything a little more stressful, my wife and I are expecting our second baby in November.

The money will go toward temporary housing, food and water, cleanup and dump fees, transportation, replacing things that were lost and just keeping our family going until we can get back on our feet.

Anything helps, even just sharing this. Seriously.

We’re incredibly thankful that we’re safe. We have our family, and thats what matters most. Now we just have to figure out how to put everything back together.
