Send Hawes Students to Outdoor Ed!

I am a one of the 5th grade teachers at Hawes Elementary. Every year, we take our students to Outdoor Education for a week. In this week they have the chance to explore and learn in the outdoors. It truly makes science come alive and teaches the students to appreciate the outdoors. They also learn to work together with their classmates as well as other students from around the Bay Area. Outdoor Education is an enriching experience for our children. However, it is very costly and it is difficult for our families to pay for their children to go and experience this week away. I am asking for your help to send all 75 fifth graders to Outdoor Education this spring! Every year there are students that are unable to attend Outdoor Education because of the financial burden. With your help, all of our 5th grade students will be given the opportunity to spend a week away at Outdoor Education.  Any contribution will make a difference and will go towards enriching the lives of our students.
