My name is Ann, and I am organizing this fundraiser from Hawaiʻi to support Supremo furbabies, a nonprofit animal rescue founded and managed by Jennie Torres in the Philippines.
I am the one leading this fundraising campaign. All money raised and all collected supplies will be sent directly to Supremo Furbabies in the Philippines. No funds will be used for personal purposes, and I will provide updates and proof of transfers and shipments for transparency.

Jennie’s Story
“My name is Jennie Torres. I was previously featured on ABS-CBN’s ‘Tao Po.’
I currently manage two shelters; one in Malabon and another in Sitio Balanga, Siling Bata, Pandi Bulacan. Together, these shelters care for approximately 400 rescued dogs and cats.
Most of the animals we rescue are sick, injured from road accidents, senior dogs and cats, kittens and puppies, and mother dogs and cats with their babies, because they are the ones who need help the most.
Because many of our rescues arrive in critical condition, our veterinary bills are very high. We prioritize rescuing those in urgent need. Some do not survive, but we do everything within our ability to give them love, care, and dignity until the end of their lives.
We also allow adoptions, but we strictly follow an adoption process with full screening and requirements. Having a pet is not a simple responsibility — it is a lifetime commitment. As long as they are alive and fighting, they deserve to be fought for and never easily given up.
I manage both shelters mostly on my own, with the help of eight caretakers. The land we use is owned, it is not rented.
We rescue to give them a second chance at life, to experience love and care.
Every day, I run a small store and do online selling just to help cover food expenses, caretaker salaries, and daily needs. But when it comes to veterinary bills, it becomes very difficult because medical treatment is expensive.
I hope that one day, more people will help support these animals, and that those who adopt will love them as much as we do.
I am also a full-time breastfeeding mother to a 2-year-old and have an 8-year-old child. Despite being a mother, managing a small business, and online selling, I continue to help stray animals as much as I can.
All of my rescues are vaccinated and spayed or neutered because we must be an example of responsible pet ownership.
This is my advocacy.”

Our Hybrid Mission
From Hawaiʻi, we are:
• Collecting lightweight care supplies (pee pads, reusable diapers, blankets)
• Shipping one balikbayan box directly to the shelter (this shipping will be covered by myself)
• Raising funds so they can purchase food and veterinary care locally
Fundraising Goal: $1,000
(mostly will be covered their vet bills balance which is approximately ₱50,000 Philippine pesos)
All donations and supplies will go directly to Supremo Furbabies through their bank.
Why Even $1 Matters
The exchange rate makes a huge difference.
$1 USD is approximately ₱58 Philippine pesos.
That means:
• $10 ≈ ₱580
• $25 ≈ ₱1,450
• $50 ≈ ₱2,900
Even small donations stretch significantly further in the Philippines and can directly help cover food, hygiene supplies, and veterinary care.
