HAWAII TO GEORGIA

Aloha! My name is Kai Wilding, and I'm a dedicated kayaker representing Hawai’i on Team USA. This year, I have the honor of competing at Nationals in Atlanta, Georgia, August 6-10 2024 where I will paddle against some of the best athletes in the USA.

Kayaking is more than a sport for me—it's a passion that has shaped who I am. Growing up in the beautiful waters of Hawai’i, I learned to respect and navigate the powerful ocean from an early age. My journey in kayaking has taught me discipline, resilience, and the joy of challenging my limits.

Competing at Nationals is a dream come true, but the road to the Olympics is paved with expenses—travel, equipment, training, and accommodations. That's why I'm turning to you. Your support will not only help cover these costs but also empower me to focus on what I do best: kayaking.

I have applied to be a firefighter and teacher in Hawai’i to make money to support this journey but until I am hired, paying for this trip is not feasible.
