Hawaii Recovery Fund for The Kysers

Don protégé
The Big Island of Hawaii's earthquakes and lava flows last week began at Leilani Estates, two houses away from the home of our beloved Hawaii family Mike and Dottie Kyser, and continue to spread and create destruction.   Dottie and Mike are now homeless.

No insurance company has their back.  When they were at last able to pay off their mortgage last year, home insurance was unavailable to them due to their neighborhood's proximity to the Pahoa lava flow of 2014...yes, the one that began just days after our Hawaiian wedding celebration that Mike and Dottie made for us.

If you ever visited Puna or if you attended our wedding celebration there, chances are strong that you met the Kysers.  Dottie and Mike live their lives with strong hearts and open arms to anyone in need, and we treasure their fine, generous spirits.

At this moment they themselves need help:  they are starting from scratch again.  We hope you will join us in supporting their efforts to build a new home for themselves and their family on their home island.

100% of the funds are going directly to Dottie and Mike Kyser. Dottie and Tim have a joint account at Bank of Hawaii and a direct deposit has been set up.

We are reimbursing the GoFundMe fees collected to the Kysers. And we are covering the taxes so that every dime donated goes directly to them.

Every contribution will be greatly appreciated.

Mahalo Nui Loa for your Kokua...
