Maggie's Mission Trip to Costa Rica

This summer (June 30th-July 14th) I am fortunate enough to be traveling to Costa Rica with the Ambassadors Adventures in Missions program to bring light to San Jose and Limon.  Having been someone who has experienced the best days of their life serving other's as the hands and feet of Christ, my heart was telling me to push my limits this summer. I have participated in other mission trips more locally like the Philly Project and the Appalachian Service project in the past couple years but I was feeling especially pulled toward Costa Rica. Youth With A Mission, San Jose exists to raise up and equip relevant leaders who will impact and transform the spheres of influence in society. While I am there I could be doing anything from manual labor to children's ministry. No matter how big or small a task, I am looking forward to being 100% invested in helping others while on this trip. The donations will get me to Georgia, where the team launches and returns as a group, to Costa Rica and back, will pay for my food and lodging and will also go to the organization itself.  Considering how late in the game I signed up for this trip, the money was due in full almost simultaneously to when I signed up. I felt so strongly pulled to go that I didn't let the timing stop me and I tapped into my life savings and fronted the money myself. Now looking to replenish my funds because I have about 0 dollars to my name, I want to raise the money that I did not have time to collect in the first place. Service work is something so insanely important to me. My whole entire being glows when I have the opportunity to be fully devoted to helping other people. To be in an environment where this type of attitude is encouraged, promoted and fostered is an environment in which I wish I could dwell eternally. I know all of the work isn't fun and pretty but it is meaningful, rewarding work. Any donation is a donation greatly appreciated. I have nothing but sheer gratitude for those that support me on this adventure, past adventures and the many more to come. Thanks a million times.
