Haven Rentals is Philly's first and only board game rental service. With the COVID-19 Pandemic, people have been required to be a bit more creative while in the safety of their own homes or small Social distancing spaces. 
Since this is our new norm, we’ve found new ways to engage with friends and family. There are Zoom calls, games on phones and tablets and binge watching your favorite shows but there is one form of entertainment that has been around for hundreds of years. Board Games!!
Customers will be allowed to rent board games from our collection of 100+ games. You have the option of certain classics like Checkers and Sorry OR play one of the latest games like Catan and Ticket to Ride.
As a customer, you'll visit our website www.havenphilly.com, to select the games you wish to rent. You'll have the option of having the games delivered to you via our Game Dispatch team or you can pick up the games from our location. Feel free to rent as many games as you want but you can only rent up to 5 days. At this time, we are only delivering to the zip codes 19139, 19143, and 19104. For returns, there will be several drop boxes throughout West Philly or schedule a time for games to be picked up from you.
Addressing COVID-19.
The safety of our customers is our main priority. Therefore, we have selected games that are easily protected. These games have been completely sleeved and can be effectively sanitized, disinfected, and fully inspected before delivery and after pick up.
All games included in our list have components that are able to be disinfected through spray, wipe and soak sanitizing solutions.
A Look Ahead - Haven Philly Cafe
Philly's first Black-owned board game cafe will be coming to West Philly in the Spring of 2021!! Haven Philly will be designed as a "third space" (after home and work) where our customers can exchange ideas, have a good time, and build relationships. It'll be a safe space to play a game, study for an exam, work on a project or chat with a friend. Because we were scheduled to open in Oct 2020, we accrued a number of expenses. This campaign will allow us to prevent this dream from dying even before our doors have opened! Thank you for your support
