My friend's son, Luke, received a heart transplant on April 3rd and is doing great!  He will be in the hospital for a couple weeks before being discharged.  Then he has to live within a 2 hour drive of Boston Children's Hospital, where the operation took place, for at least 2 months for check-ups and monitoring.  The family lives in Macedon, NY -- 6 hours from Boston -- so they will need housing in the Boston area while Luke continues to heal.  Most of their medical expenses are covered, but housing and food are not.  I am trying to help raise funds for them to cover the long road of expenses ahead.
