Have a heart for Jennifer Kenyon

Hi, my name is Jamie and I am raising money for my best friend Jennifer Kenyon. If you know Jen, you know that she is a proud and private person. It may sadden you to know that she has been battling a serious heart condition called viral cardiomyopathy (yes, like in Beaches). Treatment for this condition is a long process and there is no cure. Due to the painful and exhausting effects of her condition and medication, Jen is no longer able to work. Medical treatments are expensive and she is at the point where serious surgical options will be the next step.

Jen is the most giving and caring person I have ever met. To know her is to love her. She has the most beautiful soul and certainly the most infectious laugh. It has been so difficult for such a hard working, outgoing and fun loving person to struggle to do even the smallest tasks most days.

Jen still has a long road ahead of her. Her condition is complicated and rest and reducing the workload to her heart are mandatory for recovery.

I know that Jen has touched so many lives and there are so many of us that care deeply about her. Please help me lift her up the way she has lifted so many others. Let’s give back to someone who always makes us smile.
