Have a Heart for HLHS
Donation protected
I used to want to collapse after a 5K like most people, and got motivated to do something seemingly impossible in an effort to help children born with HLHS(Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome). I decided to start training for and running Ultra Marathons to raise money to research a pre-birth cure for HLHS. These children are born with only 3 out of 4 heart chambers and will never get the chance to truly compete in any athletics. I decided to suffer so future children will not have to. My best friend's son, my Godson, was born with HLHS, and after 16 invasive surgeries, did not make it to his 3rd birthday. I have partnered with the Mayo Clinic HLHS research department and 100% of donations will go toward advancing the treatment. Please have a heart for kids born with HLHS and help find a pre-birth cure so more kids can live life to their full potential.
