3 weeks ago, very suddenly, my sister Tia was admitted to the hospital for a blood clot on her heart valve. If you know Tia's history, you know she was born with a heart defect, and in 1988, an artificial valve replaced the one she had. At 49, the valve is causing trouble, which is why Tia is still currently in the hospital.

This means she is not working (which means no wages) to provide for herself and her family, and medical bills and living expenses are piling up.

We are asking for help, help with medical bills, help with filling the hole that being away from work has caused on her day-to-day life expenses.
